Emmy Awards 2014 Nominated

Series 1

When a successful British husband and wife comedy team are lured by Hollywood to produce a new version of their hit TV series for a US network, they're initially thrilled at the prospect. But they soon realise what the American execs have in store for their precious show ...and before long it's clear that it's not just their TV show that's at stake, but perhaps even their marriage.

From the highly acclaimed writing partnership of David Crane (Friends) and Jeffrey Klarik Mad About You) and starring Matt LeBlanc (Friends) playing a larger than life version of himself, and Tamsin Greig (Green Wing), Stephen Mangan (Free Agents) and John Pankow (Mad About You, Ally McBeal). Directed by James Griffiths (Free Agents).

Series 2

In the second series guest stars include Nigel Planer (The Young Ones), Michael Brandon (Dempsey and Makepeace) and James Purefoy (Rome). John Pankow (Mad About You and Morning Glory) returns as studio head Merc Lapidus and Kathleen Rose Perkins (The Island) as his long-suffering mistress Carol Rance. Directed by Jim Field Smith (Butter and She's Out Of My League).

Series 3

The award-winning, critically acclaimed comedy EPISODES returns for a much-anticipated third season.

In this hilarious series from visionary creators David Crane (Friends) and Jeffrey Klarik (Mad About You), Matt LeBlanc plays an outrageous version of himself, a dazzling, multifaceted role for which he won a Golden Globe and received multiple Emmy nominations for Best Actor in a Comedy.

Stephen Mangan (Green Wing) and Tamsin Greig (Friday Night Dinner), two of the crown jewels of British comedy, are Sean and Beverly Lincoln, an English couple whose hit UK sitcom is remade for US audiences and corrupted beyond recognition. EPISODES, which in its first two seasons earned a slew of Emmy, BAFTA, and Golden Globe awards and nominations, is produced by Hat Trick Productions (Have I Got News For You) for the BBC and Showtime (Homeland, Dexter) with distribution by Hat Trick International (HTI).

In the first two seasons, Sean and Beverly were lured to Hollywood to adapt their much-loved British boarding-school comedy, Lyman's Boys, only to have it mangled by their American network into Pucks!, a sitcom about a high school hockey coach starring Matt LeBlanc. Not surprisingly, the show is met with scathing reviews and dismal ratings. To make matters worse, when Beverly sleeps with Matt in a moment of drunken madness, her marriage is left as battered as the state of their TV show. Over time both Beverly and Matt are able to repair the damage they've done, and slowly win their way back into Sean's good graces. By the end of the second season, Sean and Beverly find themselves back in each other's arms.

Meanwhile, Matt has created even more problems for himself. He's slept with his stalker, Labia, causing his ex-wife to threaten revoking shared custody of his two sons. As if that weren't enough, Matt's affair with the blind wife of network president Merc Lapidus (John Pankow) is exposed, leading to a brawl at a black tie gala which leaves him with a dislocated shoulder.

At the start of the third season, Sean and Beverly are back together. But they soon discover that it's not so easy to heal old wounds, especially when additional secrets are revealed about their time apart. Things get no easier for Matt this year as his career and ego continue to be pummelled.

Even though Jamie Lapidus has left her husband for him, Matt still has a wandering eye (and other body parts), putting the one good thing in his life in jeopardy. The situation at Pucks! goes from bad to worse as the ratings continue to plummet. A new head of the network is eager to cancel it altogether. Everyone must scramble to figure out what they're going to do next even as Pucks! stubbornly refuses to die.

As the series progresses, we are plunged deeper into the twisted world of Hollywood. It's a fabulous mess of desperate ambition and casual sex, surgically-enhanced actresses and network executives one pill away from madness. Through it all, Sean and Beverly struggle to rediscover the love they had when they started their American adventure, while Matt fights to reclaim the stardom that was once his.

Kathleen Rose Perkins returns as Carol Rance, Beverly's best friend and boss who only occasionally lies to her. Mircea Monroe is again Morning Randolph, Matt's co-star in Pucks! whose youthful appearance is a miracle of modern science.

EPISODES melds the best of British and American wit and series three is an exposť of the insanity of Hollywood and a heart breaking romantic comedy.
